Bkk Thai Kitchen - Carlsbad

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in Carlsbad. The food tends to be healthier compared to other places. I highly recommend the Jungle Curry and Pad Thai. The owner and staff are very friendly as well!

What's the point of asking how you'd like your meat cooked if it comes out rare anyway? The appetizer was small, and this dry dish totaled $43? No thank you.

We ordered three Pad Thais and a fried rice. Unfortunately, the noodles in the Pad Thai were undercooked and the sauce was bland. The fried rice was also overly salty. We decided to take our food back to the hotel to eat later, but ultimately ended up throwing it away. It's disappointing, as the same dishes we had two years ago were excellent. I really wonder what went wrong this time.

Delicious!!! My friend and I came to dinner with our toddlers on Sunday night at 7:00. It was empty and we were the only ones there. Our service was fast, food was great, and the owner was attentive and super friendly. Our children got cute children's plates that were a nice touch. It was a clean quiet atmosphere. Thank you.

A very typical Thai place. We had all ordered from the lunch menu. The curry was flavorful but nothing to rave about. The spicey scale is pretty accurate, I had a level 6 curry and it was not too extreme. Although a 6 in a non-curry item maybe on the spicier side, so beware. The service is fast, I would say a little rushed. Would I come back specifically for this joint? Probably not since it is just like any Thai place. Come in if you are around the area, it is a good option.
