Bushfire Kitchen La Costa - Carlsbad

The food looks and smells AMAZING. But, they use Canola oil to grill everything. What ever happened to good ole olive oil, or yummy ghee, or even plain butter?! I have terrible allergies to Canola oil, and I know I’m not alone on that. I wish there was a restaurant that would use something besides Canola, Safflower, Sunflower, and Peanut oil to make their food.

Ordered the fuego burger:Bread was cold dry, avocado was black nasty, sides are super small, brussel sprouts are dry flavorless, mac cheese same. Definitely overpriced for the lack of quality. I will not eat here again do not recommend! Should've gone to The Habit across the way!

This food definetly tastes healthy! I couldn't finish it. It somehow tasted like it was microwaved. I got the Thai curry bowl and regretted it immediately. Looked like cat/ dog food. Will not be eating again don't know how it has 4.3.Food: 1/5

Ordered the Thai chicken curry on mashed potatoes and they were delicious. Service was good, the kitchen was fast, and the serving sizes were generous enough to have a full meal later.Would be a great pick for groups of friends or families with picky eaters.

LOVE THESE GUYS!!! GREAT food at a decent price and they’re ALWAYS SUPER FRIENDLY! I do Uber Eats for them and deliver and they’re always friendly and timely! Wife and I will come again!!
