Jose's Taco Shop - Carlsbad

The food is slightly below the quality of Tacoglocke, but it's still good, and the prices are reasonable.

Friendly staff and delicious food make for a great dining experience on the island. Jose's offers an extensive menu, and I opted for the bacon breakfast burrito, which was served in just five minutes! They also have breakfast burritos available all day long. I will definitely be returning!

I had the worst fish tacos I've ever eaten! The fish was cold, and the tortillas fell apart the moment I tried to pick them up. It's unbelievable to serve cold fish tacos!

This place is the worst, and it's a bummer because I work and live nearby, so that could definitely be my place. The Burritos are small and never filled, they give you green hot sauce when you ask for red what is so strange (doubt twice and I had to ask for the check of the bag both times), last time in the cook took my order and I asked if cheese was in the chorizo burrito? He said yes, then the lady comes back and gets me $1.50 extra for cheese (whatever), and as all others mentioned, are they not kind at all? Unfortunately Jose? I tried you three times, and all three times were a great disappointment. Hopefully the property changes and we can get a solid Mexican food store in this food dish.

Strange, didn't see rude and nasty on the menu, but they sure dished it up. Perhaps if the food wasn't so bland, might have ignored the attitude. Don't waste your time or money as there are plenty of Mexican restaurants that DO want your business.
