Mini's Lounge - Carlsbad

Ran into this little lounge after checking in to the hotel. A show was just starting at the play castle for the kids so I joined the wife at the bar. What an ideal place to put a lounge to relax and grab a drink while the kids were being entertained. You are just a short distance from the action, so you are able to keep an eye on the kids while you are relaxing. There was even a large TV in the area which happened to be showing the Clippers vs Warriors game. The wife tried a few of the mixed drinks while I had a brew. It was a nice way to end our day at Legoland.

First off this place is awesome! They have boo's while the kids can play in the castle. Bartender is really nice and awesome. They do have happy hour from 3-5pm. Unfortunately I missed it but which if fine. $7 beer comparable to most restaurants. Also there is a restaurant in the hotel if you would like to order some food while taking a break. It's a great to be and my son and I come here often. You don't have to be staying here to enjoy the play area at all. I highly recommend this place

This is was probably the worse experience from my Legoland visit and my stay at the Legoland Hotel. I decided to end my visit with a to-go iced coffee...however as soon as I received my iced latte and an iced coffee I had ordered, I noticed the color was off. Being as it was a latte, which contains milk, I let it go. But once I was in my car and I took the first sip, I knew it was terrible. No coffee taste at all, my latte and the iced coffee tasted like water over ice with milk. Not at all what a 5 dollar coffee should taste like. Aside from the coffee, the lady who was there had terrible customer service skills, if none at all. First she gave me a weird look as soon as I began my order. Then she insisted that I could not get a muffin, because it was not the service time for it. If I 'm staying at a resort, I expect coffee and bread to be available at all times, not when it is convenient for staff. Then she continued to look at me weird, and failed to properly state the amount that I owed for my purchase. When I asked for the total she gave me a hard look as of saying your a dumbass. On my next visit to Legoland California Resort, I will refrain from buying any beverages from this place. My purchase was made on 4/8/2018 at 5:40 pm.

I really appreciate that this lounge bar offers vegan jerky and plant-based milk alternatives for drinks and yogurts. They also provide healthy choices for kids, and even have higher quality oatmeal!

Awesome place to have a drink or coffee or just hang out in the area while your kids are playing right there within eye shot with legos. We had drinks and coffee... mochas, regular and lattes that were delicious. Tara served us and was absolutely amazing with a smile on her face on Saturday. It was just relaxing after a long day at Legoland and the Water Park!
