Nick’s On State - Carlsbad

The first time here. that was delicious. the crispy chicken has ordered, but drunk to hear, there were no more cookies. service was great. cyrus was very attentive.

Everything was as good as usual, but we sat in the cabin next to the server entrance in the kitchen. Many of the servers and food makers in/out killed the ambiente. this table should be reserved for the walk in’s, not those who book in advance.

Very consistent concept a fav of us. overall very good. Mgr spoke with tables. great. the service was not as good as usual. mane waiter had too many tables? caroline that works there is better. She was from the last time we asked her.

The food, service, and ambiance is always great, in my experience. A bit pricey but not extreme compared to other restaurants.

I took to friends for lunch… their first time at Nicks’s. They loved the Spicey Thai salad, fried asparagus. I had the delicious prime rib dip sandwich… delish. We tried the butter cake dessert… DELISH. They are coming back … as am I with the hubs.
