Notorious Burgers - Carlsbad

I dined there three times over the last three days and thoroughly enjoyed each experience. I would rave about the lemon curd dessert, but I hesitate to do so because I don’t want too many people ordering it and causing it to run out before I can have mine! It seems that Mama makes them herself, and if she takes a break, customers are out of luck. So, go ahead and order anything else—just not that!

I had the Blackened Blue burger last night, and it was outstanding. I chose a salad as my side, which was dressed with a delicious white balsamic vinaigrette. Tonight, I decided to try the Greek salad, which looked and tasted fantastic at first. However, I soon noticed that under the feta cheese, the cucumbers were mostly missing their best parts—they were mostly bitten into rather than cut. There was only one neatly sliced piece. I can't understand why the best parts would be removed like that; it was just off-putting. I wasn't sure how to rate the experience overall, as everything else was decent, but I have to say that the white balsamic dressing on the house salad was much tastier.

I was searching for a nearby spot to enjoy a burger, some beers, and catch a baseball game on TV. This place definitely met my expectations. It has a cozy indoor area but also a spacious patio, perfect for larger groups. The bartender, Nas, was incredibly helpful and well-informed about the beers on tap. I enjoyed a delicious burger (the Blackened Blue), and they even have Pliny the Elder available on tap—absolutely fantastic!

My side of choice was salad , which comes with a delicious White Balsamic so Tonight I tried a Greek salad which looked and tasted amazing until I discovered under that feta, the cucumbers appear to have the center best part) Eaten, not cut. There?s one cut slice . The rest were clearly biten . Why would the best part be removed at all? Just gross. Wasn?t sure how to rate because it was otherwise not bad but the White Balsamic on the house salad was tastier.
