Richard Walker's Pancake House

The hardest part about coming to Richard Walker's Pancake House is deciding on which dish to order!! This last time I got the apple pancake, worth the extra 20 minutes to cook it. And then, they had the audacity to let the smell of ? drift my way and I had to get that too. Ugh, their bacon is sooo good. Omar provided great service and my friend enjoyed her waffle flight. Love this place!!

Every experience at Richard Walkers has been fantastic. The food and service are both top notch. And their coffee is just next level awesome. I usually have 3-cups, and get a to-go cup as well. And our daughter has an entire pitcher of iced tea, and feels bad if she doesn’t happen to finish it because it is so so good.

This is a super popular spot for breakfast and a few brunch/lunch items. Limited hours. Dod Friendly. Heated outdoor patio and indoor seating. We have been waiting to try it since we moved to Carlsbad. We went on a Thursday around 11 am. We were seated outside immediately (with my two dogs in a stroller). The menu is large, but since they are known for their German pancakes, we got one to share and decided we also needed bacon and coffee. We got the Pecan German Pancake. It was large enough for 2 3, or perhaps 4 people. It was very good, although it appeared to be a bit overdone (burnt). It also has a ton of cinnamon so if that's not your vibe, choose differently. The bacon was thick and soft (not crispy). We like it like that, so again, if you want it crispy, you might have to specify. The coffee was 10/10.The service was also very good; friendly attentive, our coffee stayed full.The scene isn't much to look at. It is in a shopping plaza.Parking: Large parking lot, friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Accessible although tables are a bit tight. I did not go inside or visit the bathroom.
