Vigilucci's Seafood & Steakhouse

One of my favorite places for dinner is this restaurant that serves delicious seafood with a fantastic waterfront view and friendly staff.

I had requested a window table a week in advance for our anniversary, but we were seated in the middle of the restaurant. I ordered the Sam encrusted with Macadamias but had to send it back as it was undercooked. They brought me a new one, but there was no apology from the manager. The food quality did not match the high prices. We will not be returning.

I’ve been here several times special occasions, birthdays, business dinners, etc. fantastic every time never disappoints!

Way too expensive for what you get. “Burrata” on a Caprese salad was dry, not creamy. $58 for seafood risotto is ridiculous. $17 for a la cart baked potato? Tables SO crammed in, difficult to get to restroom. Raised the blinds during our dinner, causing blinding light to hit us. I very nicely asked that it be lowered again. Hostess just looked at me and said “so”. Manager said it was because people want to see the sunset. Well we just want to SEE anything. They lowered it a little bit but I was disappointed at the attitude. Our server was very nice. Been going there for years on our yearly trip here but there are too many options in Carlsbad now

So over priced do not like we never returned from the East Coast and there’s restaurants I blow away the food at this restaurant
