Mayla Thai - Carlton

The portions are extremely small and lacked any real flavor. It wasn't a satisfying meal, and I won't be dining here again.

I didn't have high expectations for a food truck located in a remote area, but Mayla Thai truly exceeded my expectations and might just be one of the best Thai meals I've enjoyed in quite some time. I tried the pad thai, massaman curry, and egg rolls, and they were all outstanding. The egg rolls, in particular, were some of the best I've had lately (and I don't usually care for egg rolls). While all of Carlton's restaurants are excellent, Mayla Thai stands out as one of my favorites. It may not look like much and has limited hours, so I recommend checking the opening times and giving them a call to confirm if they’re open.

Mayla, a charming little red trailer located in a parking lot, serves up genuinely authentic Thai food. The dishes are incredibly fresh and delicious. I find myself craving another visit. (In the images, you can see the mango with sticky rice and the shrimp pineapple rice dish.)

Great Thai food truck in Carlton. Ingredients are all fresh and tasty. We ordered chicken egg rolls, tofu salad rolls, pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and yellow curry. The salad rolls were huge! One salad roll here is what you usually get as two in a restaurant (because the restaurant cuts it in half). FYI, you must call in advance to place an order. We had a big order, so we called at 11:30am and were given a 12:30pm pick-up time. She is not taking walk-up orders at this time. So call ahead and enjoy the yummy food!

Tried there already several dishes, which were always tasty and authentic. Friendly owner! Highly recommend this place.
