They offer freshly baked bread, a hot food bar, a salad bar, and convenient grab-and-go options. There's plenty of outdoor seating available, and they often host live music and community events.
Nestled in the heart of Carrboro, Weaver Street Market is truly deserving of some praise. I’ve never taken the time to write a review for a grocery store before, but this place definitely stands out.
I've been shopping at this local cooperative for three years and have generally had a positive experience. However, I've recently noticed significant price increases that seem to go beyond typical inflation, almost resembling price gouging. As a result, I've become more careful about what I buy here. For items that I can't find at the farmers market and have become too pricey at Weaver St market, I've started shopping at the nearby Harris Teeter. I hope the coop can tackle this issue and provide fairer prices for the community in the future. While I'm willing to pay a bit more for locally made products, I don’t think it's reasonable to pay, for instance, $10.99 for basic mass-produced olive oil when it was just $7.99 a week ago. That's nearly a 40% increase!
Pretty neat. VERY accessible for the disabled community. Staff is so nice. Lattes are great!
Great selection of Healthy, natural and organic food options. The store has personality and is a big part of the community. Check it out! Highly recommend!
