Morrisons - Castle Point

Awful experience. Short staffed, and struggling to cope. No coffee. Sending people to self service tills but no note about not having coffee. So many people disgruntled and moaning. Food took about 40mins to come out. I had the poached egg on avacado and toast. First thing it looked not very appetising. The poached egg was hard boiled. The avacado so cold it had frozen lumps in it and as a result the toast was cold. The staff were constantly apologising and explaining about the coffee machine. As it got busier it got worst. I would of demanded my money back but felt sorry for the staff. I don't blame staff I blame management. The amount of stress this was putting on staff is not fair and not a nice working environment. We won't return obviously

Visited here for late breakfast. Hot chocolate machine apparently not been working for some time. Some items unavailable why? you’re based inside a supermarket. One young man was doing a magnificent job. We saw him taking orders and payments, bringing food to tables, refilling coffee machine and various other jobs. I was seriously concerned that he might disappear up his own backside at any moment. He was dashing about like a blue a d fly poor devil. You need more staff because he was doing the work of about three people.He needs a medal. Food was lukewarm.

Just bought two quarter pounder meals and two apple pies. Got hone to discover one lot of fries missing and no apple pies although I was charged for them!!!! After having driven over an hour to get home I wanted something quick and easy....your phone line is permanently engaged Receipt no MRWW RGRD JQGH Thanks a lot McDonalds Sylvia

Counter staff on deli one in particular Tracy really doesn’t want to be there no actually puts me off buying when I see her banging around and just plain rude asking yeah what it’s wrong Morrison’s sort out training for your staff

Omg where do i start. Went here early afternoon maybe 2 or 3. Waited 5 minutes to be served. In the end walked into kitchento see all 3 women having a gossip. I said anyonen serving. Was met with a filthy look and yeah in a minute ! Then carried on talking. Finally sent a young lad out who was very stressed and run off his feet while they carried on chatting about eastenders. Told at till sorry no coffee as machines broke again. Ok coke then. Nope sorry no coke machine! Okay a can off the fridge. You guessed it. No cans of coke. Basically nothing even though the cafe is slap bang in the middle of a supermarket! Then cautiously ordered a jkt potato and salad. Hubby ordered a full english. I hadnt sat down and the food was on the table. Suffice to say jkt was literally cremated and STONE COLD! hubbys was also barely warm and disgusting. I ordered a refund and got it. Hubby said never again. Nothing like the one in maldon which another customer agreed with. Nice staff and food cooked fresh unlike here. This place needs fresh staff get rid of this lot. Lazy and frankly rude! The young lad was doing everything. Lots of customers were complaining and all.of us said the lad should run this cafe. If you can call it that. Im so disgusted im writing to the manager and health and safety. Disgusted doesnt cover it.
