The employees seemed very unhappy to be working here. The pizza ended up being bland and uninteresting (despite my choosing the ingredients I like) I'm not sure what was missing but I wouldn't come back to this restaurant. If you're in a pinch, this is a vegan option but I didn't love it.
They list 23 different veggie and herb toppings and guess what. The price for the pizza is the same no matter how many you ask for! These include roasted broccoli, roasted corn, and roasted red peppers. No veggie meats but they do have non-dairy cheese. They said the standard dough is vegan, and you can choose standard thin crust, or pay a bit more for double thick dough. The standard 11 pizza is big enough to share and is yours for less than $9. They also have a smaller 6 for less than $7. You can use the same toppings and greens to make a big or small salad. Very comfortable dining space, including a big outdoor eating area. Servers are mixed in terms of not contaminating my pizza; the first time we went they immediately changing gloves without asking and used a separate pizza knife, but the second time went we had to actively ask and remind at every step of the process. I liked that you have total control on the contents of the pizza, including how heavy to go on the cheeze. The standard crust was so light that I didn't feel like I was eating too many empty calories in bread. Definitely a fun experience and one we'll be doing again soon! This was a great eatery for our group with different needs and tastes!
The dining area is very comfortable, with a spacious outdoor seating option. The service is attentive when it comes to accommodating dietary restrictions; during my first visit, the servers wore gloves without me having to ask and used a separate pizza knife. However, during my second visit, I had to remind them to follow the same procedures. I appreciate having full control over my pizza's ingredients, including the level of cheese I desire. The standard crust was light enough that I didn’t feel like I was consuming too many empty calories. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I look forward to returning soon! I have dined at Blaze Pizza before, which has a similar concept of choosing your ingredients to customize your own pizza. I really enjoyed my experience there, but this restaurant didn't meet my expectations. The staff appeared to be quite unhappy while working, which affected the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, my pizza turned out bland and lackluster, even with the selection of ingredients I typically enjoy. I'm not sure what was off, but I wouldn't choose to return to this place. It does offer a vegan option if you're in a hurry, but I didn't find it very appealing.
