Believe the other reviews about the service. We went for Mother's Day brunch. The food was decent but not a large selection but also cheaper than some other brunches with larger selections. Desserts were marginal. The staff was not very friendly at all, very slow and unorganized. Many unhappy customers based on service but most appeared satisfied with food.
The food was good and the hostess was friendly but this was absolutely the worst service I have ever received. One meal came minutes later than the others, we had to flag down our waitress each time we needed something and there was a clear lack of management. Considering the prices I would expect a better-trained staff.
Good food and service, ambiance a bit sterile, could be warmer with for instance some background music like the standards (Sinatra, Holliday, Martin, Bennett). When we first arrived the restaurant had only a few guests and the room was too quiet, like a library and felt a bit awkward.
We love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friend's home, and it's on the golf course. We could hear the frogs chirping loudly this Spring after all of the rain we've had (finally The staff at the restaurant make it so worth eating here, and we can actually hold a conversation. It is quiet, the food is good, and we can watch the golfers drive floatable balls into the lake. We've been here several times, and will come back for more. One of our favorite waiters is Nick; he knows how to make us feel right at home.
