Wend's Cafe - Castro Valley

This restaurant is amazing! I ordered the bun bo beef vermicelli for $15 and it was packed so full that the package was bursting. It had a generous amount of well-grilled meat, veggies, and noodles. My dining companions both loved their $25 banh mi 3 item deal, which included a sandwich, spring rolls, and Thai tea, as well as the $13 pho. The total bill for three people, including three Thai iced teas, was about $70. We absolutely loved the meal and have plenty of leftovers for another meal tomorrow. Highly recommended!

This place is great. Chicken Pho was so good. Chicken Banh Mi was delicious. Service is very friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and well organized. Now, food is very good hands down.

Just bought a large Pho added side of Wontons in it, They were very polite we love the Pho.

The service was awesome we walked in 10 min before closing and they were happy to seat us. It was a party of 10 so it was going to be a lot of work but they did a great job. Food was great and the portions they give you are extremely generous. You ask for a medium bowl and they give you a bowl that looks like it's for a family of 4. Give it a try.

Solid contender, with a really hardy and packed combination vermicelli bowl with fried shrimp with breading, and imperial rolls. Centrally located in downtown Castro valley, with a really nice staff that checked on me several times to make sure that I was enjoying my meal. I recommend!
