However, an employee at SugarBakers convinced us to have a cake tasting, which turned out to be a fun, free, and delicious experience. We were presented with a plate of eleven flavors and three types of frosting, each one better than the last. Our favorites were Peach Melba, chocolate mousse toffee, Amaretto Raspberry, and Red Velvet. We ultimately chose a simple three-tier cake with Peach Melba and Red Velvet layers, covered in French buttercream. The buttercream was rich and silky, and not overly sweet like American buttercream. The cake turned out beautifully, complementing our wedding theme perfectly. While the option of fondant decorations was tempting, we opted for a simpler frosted design to keep costs down. The cake was a hit at our wedding, and we received many compliments on its flavor. SugarBakers was easy to work with, and we highly recommend them for any special occasion.
I love the Amaretto raspberry and we recently got the Dulce de leche. Heaven on earth. Some of my peeps love the carrot cake others love the red velvet. The chocolate meets every desire. Here's what I can tell you, it doesn't matter the cake, it never disappoints.
I ordered a cake from Sugar Bakers for my son's baby shower and daughter-in-law. It was my first grandchild, so I wanted something special. Since I had never ordered a fancy cake before, I was not aware of the cost. However, Sugar Bakers worked with me to keep everything at a reasonable price and even added some extra decorations. The cake turned out beautifully and was delicious! Thank you, and I will definitely recommend you to my family and friends!
After being hired at USC, I relocated to Los Angeles. I absolutely adore Sugarbakers. Their Lemon Cake and their famous Smith Island Cake are both outstanding. I couldn't resist stopping in to pick up a slice to share with my family while visiting Baltimore. It's delicious.
My favorite flavor is the almond rasberry so when they said thry had Easter cakes. i just couldnt pass it up.
