The Beaumont - Catonsville

The surf and turf salad that I usually enjoy was disappointing this time, as the steak was nothing but gristle.

I ordered a beer, but the waitress only poured three-quarters of it into my glass and took the rest away. She never offered any drink refills during my visit. Additionally, the quality of the food did not justify the prices charged.

While I think this is likely a one-time experience for me, I did enjoy it. The only drawback was the size of the space; seating was quite limited, and there wasn't much room between tables, which made it difficult to have an intimate meal. Additionally, the tables and chairs were small, so if you're larger or have more than one dish, it can be a bit cramped. The food was good, and the waiter was friendly.

This was me n hubby first time at the Beaumont. Based on review I read prior to our visit I was expecting the restaurant to look little fancier. We dined at 4:45 and were the only customers there upon our arrival. Initially service was great. Complimentary bread was delicious!!! Husband had the lollipop lamb chops well done as requested and they were delicious. We also shared a salad as our appetizer and it was good too. Cons: I was disappointed that they didn’t have sockeye salmon for an entree as advertised online dinner menu (that was a main reason we came there). So I got their Norwegian salmon and it was ok. More disappointing was the 20 ounce steak hubby requested WELL Done. It was well and delicious on the edges but soon as he cut inside blood started pouring out. When we should the waiter, he simply said do you want me to box it up to take. I replied I guess I’ll just have to cook it at home if that’s my only option . The waiter never offered to have chef cook it more as ordered. His body language became negative and he cleared our table and came back with just the bill. He said with a disappointing face, I took the steak off your bill .
