I had the vegan curry and fries, served by a friendly waitress. The curry was surprisingly good and packed with flavor, but the portion size was quite small. Even the serving of rice that came with it was smaller than other rice servings I’ve had in the past. The fries were decent, but a bit soft and definitely tasted of fish, likely because they were fried in the same oil.
I suppose you can't expect too much on Caye Caulker, but it was a bit disheartening to see just one waitress serving 40 patrons. She was literally racing around trying to keep up.
The vegetarian burrito came with fries. It was tasty, but the wait for it to be prepared was quite long.
Nothing special about this place.
