That said, they rotate tables now instead of sections- so you shouldn’t be waiting long if you are worried about old reviews. Comfort: There are fans all over, so it is quite comfortable- even when it is 98 degrees outside. Are there people drinking and having a good time? Yes, that’s what Cedar Key is for. Is smoking allowed in there? Yes, it’s an open deck (Big Deck) layout. Most people and locals tend to smoke at the bar table facing the street as opposed to in the eating area. Food: As Florida goes, sometimes there are staff shortages and people come and go- cooks especially. Well, they are on point now! The grouper and shrimp are delicious, but the wings are phenomenal! The shrim wrap was surprisingly delicious as well- I’m not a wrap guy. Drinks: Seem to be on point as well. Beer was cold, mixed drinks were strong but not overpowering, and shots were large. Entertainment: The band this weekend was great. People dance, have a great time, and it gets crowded. If that isn’t your thing, I recommend staying away. I saw someone complain about them not serving babies- this isn’t a place for infants. I saw people complain about this or that and decided to go elsewhere. Guess what? Every place they mentioned comes there on the weekend when they are closing early. Good food, good vibes, good drinks, and good entertainment. That’s what I saw- all while being able to talk to locals and learn where else to go. This is a must do for Cedar Key. Scarioke on Thursday if that is your thing too.

Very reasonably priced drinks at this cool little outdoor bar. We enjoyed listening to live music at night. We also walked across the street to the sister bar, Liam and Madie’s. They have a huge selection of alcohol and really cool place to sit inside with air-conditioning. They have lots of games and unique decorations. Also, very reasonably priced drinks that are well-made. They also have a sweet cat that likes to hang out. Parking: Easy to park on street
The atmosphere is fun but the food is sub par. I’d expect a 17.00 grouper sandwich to be a bit better. The fried cheese curds for the kids came soggy and with about 8 in a small cup, not really worth 8 bucks. They could have something very special here if the prices matched quality.
