1431 Cafe - Cedar Park

Food and service was fine. However the chicken fried chicken and brown gravy gave me food poisoning. Questioning the cleanliness and food safety practices of this restaurant.

Food was amazing and the staff was friendly, management on the other hand was terrible!!! Maybe less time outside smoking cigarettes would help you manage your time and restaurant better Brandy! Edited to add photos from other upset diners and found these gems. Also seems to be a whole bunch of the they don't like POCs Edited to respond Oh but I did eat there, I had the amazingly delicious fried heart attack. Gravy was really nice and not lumpy or anything. My issue was with your manager Brandy and her completely disrespectful attitude. I was not only on time I was 10 minutes early. Brandy was in the parking lot smoking a cigarette when I arrived. She then decided to start a separate interview and proceed to take 30 plus minutes. I declined waiting for an interview as it was now 2:30 and I had priorities at 3. I didn't expect much from you based on your other comments to negative feedback. Cheers with the dumpster fire!

Very good comfort food. The bomb pop cheesecake was an excellent ending for our 28th wedding anniversary breakfast and our waitress was amazing and hard working. We will definitely be back.

You will not leave hungry. This is the kind of place where you expect farmer style all day weak coffee. When it came in what looked like a cup from someone's grandma's cupboard I was pretty sure that is what I was getting. I was wrong, the coffee was good and strong. Try the chicken fried bacon. I liked it, my wife was on the fence either way it comes with cream gravy which was better than the bacon. The corn beef hash was good but next time I will try CF steak or one of the huge omelets.
