This place is fantastic! I had a negative experience about four years ago, but I've returned twice since then, and it feels like an entirely different restaurant. I really wish I had come back sooner! The menu can be a bit overwhelming, but the friendly staff will help you out if you mention what you liked in the past. We tried the chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, and another curry they recommended (sorry, I can't recall the name). My only suggestion is that I wish the korma were a bit creamier, like at Tarka, but that might just be a matter of personal taste. As a tip, be aware that the medium spice level is quite spicy!

Well, I gave Salt n Pepper a second chance, but unfortunately, lightning didn't strike twice. This time I went for the chicken lollipop because that is something that stuck out to me, hoping for a better experience, but it was just loaded with fat and swimming in oil – not a tasty combo. To be honest, all the other dishes fell short too, and considering the prices, it was a bit of a letdown. I wouldn't really suggest this place to anyone, and I'm not sure I'll be back for round three. ??️?‍

We moved here two years ago and discovered this restaurant during our first week. We've been dining here about once a month ever since. We enjoy getting takeout, but dining in is wonderful too. This is our favorite Indian restaurant in Austin! I highly recommend it—don't walk, run to Salt and Pepper!

It makes me so sad to see negative reviews! I almost didn’t order here because of it but I’m so glad I did! I ordered Saag Paneer, Garlic Naan, and Vegetable Samosas. I was so happy with the quality of the food, it was some of the best paneer I’ve had and the flavor was AMAZING!! Garlic naan was a bit too thin for my taste but very flavorful and soft. I am so delighted with this restaurant.
