Brauner Hirsch - Celle

We have booked one of the apartments for two nights. From contactless check-in to the apartment itself, we are very positively impressed. The price-performance ratio is really good! A very spacious, exceptionally clean apartment with a great, loving decor awaited us. We can highly recommend it! Rooms: 5

I don't know the hotel because I live in Celle myself, but the restaurant already. The restaurant is simple and rustic and reminds a little of an old farmhouse. But this ambience gives the restaurant its distinctive charm. In good weather you can also sit outside. Either right in front of the restaurant, or in the back of the small cozy beer garden. The service is nice and friendly and the dishes good and plentiful. The price-performance ratio is averaged, acceptable. Overall a nice restaurant where I like to go again and again.

Maybe its just me but I always seem to have terrible luck when it comes to the food at this restaurant. Most recently I had the Goulash, only to find it lacked any taste or seasoning. Prior to that I had a pasta caserole which was swimming in oil. While the service is always commendable, I am sorry to say the food has left me rather disappointed. My friends and family have had better experiences here with the food and maybe went for safer more traditional food choices from the menu - maybe that is the way to go if you visit this restaurant.

We stayed in the apartments in the same building. The restaurant was completely reserved for the evening, but we were allowed to eat before another group was supposed to come in. The food was very good. The service was good too. I'd definitely eat here again.
