Great find after being recommended by someone passing who overheard us not being able to take our dog into a different cafe. Great coffee. I had falafel platter and my partner the fish finger sandwich. Both very tasty, didnt look much but was very filling and didn't have room for cake so we'll have to return another day! Quirky decor, with mis matching furniture and a few crafts for sale. Very welcoming with friendly polite staff.
My friend and I were staying locally for a week. We happened to pass Artisans around 12 and as we were booked for an evening meal later we were looking for a light bite. We were delighted. The space is friendly, warm and has atmosphere. The armchairs we chose were comfortable. The people seemed a mix of locals and visitors. The food was superb. I had a Parmesan herby scone with Welsh cheese and slices of apple and chutney. It was delicious. My friend had a coffee which she said was excellent and I had a pot of tea which also hit the spot. As a bonus it was dog friendly so we didn't have to take our greyhound and whippet back to the car. The staff were friendly and helpful. It set us up nicely before we had a browse round and a spend in the shops. Highly recommended.
My husband and I were looking for a quick meal while staying at a nearby farm. The staff was lovely, the atmosphere was cozy, and the toasted sandwiches were the best! Thank you!
Excellent little friendly cafe. With nice selection of sandwiches/paninis. Comfy seats and lovely staff. Recommend the posh fish finger sandwich but also the mozarella and chutney panini. Visited 2 days in a row because it ticked our brunch boxes.
