**Previous Review: December 9, 2019 - 3 Stars** I haven’t changed my rating because the prices are steadily increasing here, especially for the breakfast deals. The restaurant is located inside Seafood City. I might consider visiting again in another year. **Earlier Review: 2018 - 3 Stars** This place is a good choice for breakfast and lunch, plus they offer free coffee. I rated it 3 stars because I’ve been here several times and the free coffee is often unavailable, which means I have to wait every time I want some.
My taste buds were craving pompano, so I ordered the grilled pompano combo. Unfortunately, the usual soup options—sinigang and nilaga—were unavailable, but I could opt for a large container of mongo (mung beans) instead, along with a dipping sauce of my choice. Sarap na! (Delicious!) The large grilled pompano was stuffed with onions and tomatoes. Pompano has a very mild flavor and is nearly boneless, with only the spine remaining. It has tender white flesh, and my favorite part was the fatty belly skin. The fish was served on a generous portion of jasmine rice. The mongo was quite tasty as well, resembling more of a soup that complemented my meal nicely. For dessert or a snack, they offer bibingka and various smoothies. Seating is shared with Chowking, another fast food outlet within Seafood City. There's plenty of parking available in a shared private lot with places like Polly's Pies and Jollibee. Initially, I considered purchasing a pre-cooked pompano from Seafood City for over $6, but when I checked out Grill City, I found that the grilled pompano combo, including rice, dipping sauce, and soup, was only around $8. What a great deal! I thoroughly enjoyed my quick meal at Grill City. I’m looking forward to returning to try their Binalot Breakfast, which comes with free coffee. For lunch or dinner, the grilled squid definitely has my attention!
Smokin Meats and Seafood Mrs Terry and Sha Sha and Kuya on D' Grill with their crew always doing their best serving long lines of hungry crowds. You guys are professional and kind, my family appreciate your crew.
This place is expensive not worth the price in my opinion. $13 for a 2 choice combo. Longanisa was one of my choices they only gave 2 pieces of Longanisa. The other choice was Tocino which was put in a separate container. Will not be going back here again. It was an extra $8+tax for another 2 pieces if we wanted more Longanisa.
