Jollibee - Cerritos

First time in a long time going to Jollibee’s and it’s good, the hamburger steak I had was like the heavily processed steak meals banquet has, but ten times better. I also tried their palabok for the first time and it’s good as well. The restaurant itself was also cleaned well considering it’s a fast food restaurant.

Came here for Filipino breakfast. Got the longanisa and tocino breakfast combos. Also had the spam sandwich and I have to say I was surprised at how pathetic the portion of spam was in the sandwich! The rice combo was presented very well and filled me up. The combo came with free coffee and that was good as well.

The taste of Chickenjoy and spaghetti here is so different compared to the one near me in Seattle; it’s much better here. It’s really reminiscent of the flavors from the Philippines. Plus, their gravy servings are generous and not stingy at all.

We ordered the fried chicken (only the spicy was available; otherwise, we would have had to wait over 20 minutes for the original), along with spaghetti and a burger steak to go for my friend, while I indulged in the mango and peach pie. That pie was incredibly delicious, especially when it was hot—much wider than a typical McDonald's apple pie but shorter. I enjoyed it so much that by the time I offered some to my friend, I had unknowingly devoured more than half! As for the chicken and spaghetti, they were good—typical Jollibee fare. We also got an order of fries, but I wouldn’t recommend them unless you can ensure they’re fresh. Ours were cold and soggy, possibly the worst fries I’ve had at a fast food place. On the plus side, they have a private parking lot and a drive-through.

The restaurant is located in a bustling area, but our food arrived promptly. The fried chicken was outstanding, and my kids loved the Filipino-style spaghetti. The peach mango pies were a bit messy, but absolutely delicious!
