Had a fantastic dinner of shared small plates.Carrot and ginger veloute, Tamarind glazed pork belly, Spring garden salad, Kimchi farm egg

The restaurant is not necessarily well located and the design is ok. The food though is SUPERB! the chef is doing an amazing job and I had the best dessert since the last 5 years! WOW!

We planned on dinner here but it was so lost, menu was typical chef driven that made sense to him but not to the customer. Owner was in kitchen but was unwelcoming. Anyway, we ordered 5 drinks, G&T, two glasses of wine, one martini and a Campari and soda. It took 25 minutes to get the drinks. We opted to leave and not eat as ….well you fill in the gaps! Atrocious! Cold airport feel!

We went to the Alden to celebrate our anniversary. It's tucked away on Peachtree Blvd in Chamblee in a residential complex along with a few other restaurants and cafes.We chose the seven course chef's tasting menu. Chef Jared Hucks' pedigree in having worked at some of the best restaurants in the world shone through. All the courses were incredible and the recommended wine pairing perfect. The sommelier, the waitstaff, and the chef himself all made sure we had a wonderful time. We also got to meet the chef's mother who was dining with us on the day, and found it very heartwarming to see a proud parent celebrate the success of her accomplished son.Highly recommend making a reservation for the tasting menu if you're celebrating something. We'll certainly be back to try the a la carte menu very soon.Parking: There's a parking lot with plenty of parking, but gets busy. There's also valet.

The Alden. Chef Jared Hucks’s pedigree includes Arzak, Noma, and Bacchanalia. Usually we go for the Chef’s Tasting Menu (highly recommend! , but we were lured this time by the a la carte menu (also highly recommend! . With so many pieces to each dish, he’s inviting you to play with your food and try different taste combos. Sharing is encouraged. Treat yourself.
