Coco Espresso Bistro - Chapel Hill

The food was delicious, the ambience very nice and the service excellent. The whipped feta and fig appetizer was to die for. Our daughter said I could just go on eating this . The portions are perfect and our waitperson was attentive and so pleasant. We had a wonderful evening and can 't wait to return!

My only complaint was the missing items in the menu and the thing they ran out of as soon as it opened for dinner. Was going to order the tagliatelle that I saw on the online menu but it wasn’t on the menu when we got there and something else on the paper menu that you were out of and I can’t seem to recall. We wound up having the Mediterranean plate as a share and we got the fig and feta app and the mozzarella and tomato crostini. The food we did order was delish.

The feta and fig appetizer was amazing! So was the chocolate banana crepe. My beer cheese burger was just ok. The burger was not hot and had no discernible beer cheese. The jalapeños and the brioche bun were good. I tried the pesto linguine and it was very good. The cookie a la mode was hard as a hockey puck. Service was good, particularly because they seemed thinly staffed. Menu is limited and they had already run out of one of the dinner specials at 6pm.
