Great food. Great entertainment on open mic night. I had the pickled brine chicken, two breakfast nitro stouts (should have stopped at one! And blueberry pie dessert. I would eat here again. The locals tell me the trout and grits are to die for.
My family and I ate here while traveling from out of town. It was modern and homey a nice small town restaurant. They also have vegan options, and our waitress was very accommodating. She also gave great recommendations of places for us to visit while in town!
I visited Bluegrass Kitchen for the second time a few days ago and I haven't been disappointed either time. It's a wonderful little local joint with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from and they change it up every once in a while so you'll have some new things to try from time to time. During my first visit in January, I got the poutine and I loved it. Unfortunately, they had taken the poutine off the menu before my recent visit (the bartender told me there's a possibility they could bring it back since it's such a popular dish), so this time I got their mac and cheese and french fries. The fries were good, as always, and the mac and cheese was to die for. The rich, creamy cheese sauce took it over the top. I highly recommend Bluegrass Kitchen.
Tonight our second visit in bluegrass and a second very satisfying experience. we spent a weekend in charleston in juli, have the layout of.
