The food and staff at this restaurant were outstanding! They were extremely helpful when we were undecided on what to order. We ended up choosing the salmon shiso, spicy hamachi, and spicy lobster fried rice, all of which were delicious. My personal favorite was the lobster fried rice. Although the restaurant is small and likely fills up quickly on weekends, I visited on a Tuesday around 3/4PM and there was plenty of seating available.

Clearly based on the reviews we are in the minority but we thought the food was awful and the service was mediocre. We begrudgingly finished our plates because we were hungry and it was so expensive. I enjoy a small, well thought out plate and don’t mind paying a premium, but literally everything we tried was unoriginal and lacked any depth of flavor. We were so excited to try this spot given the reviews and were left disappointed. There are so many amazing restaurants in Charleston and this one just missed the mark for us.
