This restaurant has shown impressive adaptability during the pandemic. It was bustling with customers last night. The sushi is outstanding; we ordered the love boat, which was more than enough for two people. The service was excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. I've also tried some of the kitchen entrees during lunch, and they are equally delicious. For those interested in vegetarian choices, there are plenty of options available. Additionally, the restaurant is very kid-friendly, offering training chopsticks and a nice kids' menu.
What a delightful surprise for our 20th wedding anniversary! The exterior of the restaurant is in an old bank building, but the interior is absolutely charming. The service was prompt and excellent. The sushi was fresh and delicious—I highly recommend the salmon and tuna sashimi, as well as the Kobe sashimi and nigiri. The spicy tuna hand-roll was outstanding, and the miso soup was just right. They also serve a generous portion of edamame. We truly enjoyed our time at this restaurant; it’s a hidden gem. We will definitely return!
This was absolutely the worst Asian food I've ever had. I didn't know it was possible to destroy chicken fried rice but apparently it is. They seated us next to the loudest human on the earth and the odd smell of the place was pretty offputting. The prices were high for the low quality food. We were visiting from out of state. The decor was nice and it was cool that they had some tables you could actually sit on the floor to dine. The service was decent. We were tired and starving when we went but was hoping for a better experience.
This busy restaurant serves high quality food in Japanese style. There are two spaces off the dinning room where guests can also be seated Japanese style, after discarding footwear. There is a long menu, dominated by fish (especially shrimp) much of which is served sushi-style; but there are plenty of beef and chicken options, especially in the hibachi section. Wine choices are reasonably priced. There are also several Japanese beers and a couple of domestics but this is the weakest part of the menu. The food we chose was beautifully prepared and served,. Staff were extremely helpful in explain dishes unfamiliar to some of us , and attentive as we worked out how to handle the selection of dishes that we shared.
