Bennett Special Events - Charleston

My husband and I stayed here while celebrating my birthday and our anniversary. The staff was very welcoming and the hotel was beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5

We highly recommend the Hotel Bennett. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel we were warmly greeted by bellman Kevin. He made us feel very welcome by giving us a tour of the features of our room. The decor of the hotel is beautiful and very calming. We truly liked every aspect of the hotel. The service is exemplary. We loved getting our coffee and our pasties each morning at the Le Patisserie. We also loved getting to know the bar tenders at Camilla's caviar bar. We will for sure stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to our friends who are visiting Charleston.

We have been to the Rooftop a few times. Each time we were not disappointed. The drinks are amazing and the service was exceptional. I have to give an extra shout out to Cooper. He was there each time we visited and his service and attention was remarkable. We bring my granddaughter with us and he always remembers her and has something to make her feel extra special. Cooper is amazing and such an asset to the atmosphere at the Hotel Bennett rooftop.

This hotel is amazing.I has the best service from the moment I arrived to the moment I left.The room was so pretty, comfortable and quiet. The bed was so comfortable and had lots of fluffy pillows. The stand alone bathtub was awesome. The lobby is gorgeous. The patisserie has amazing food. My only complaint is that the pool is small. Do not come here for a resort type pool experience. There is not enough room for all the pool guests to have a lounge chair. In fact, there’s only maybe 16 lounge chairs, but the view from the rooftop is amazing and the quality of the hotel and the service more than make up for the small pool. The location on King Street is also great.

Since I usually read reviews before staying at a new hotel or eating at a new restaurant, I felt I had to write one for our recent stay at Hotel Bennett. The rooms are beautiful, high tech, and the location is perfect on King Street. Our room had a balcony so, we spent most of our time out there enjoying the church and it’s bells which we’re located right across the street. What really set this stay apart however was the service. Everyone we came in contact with went out of their way to make sure that our stay was exceptional. When we checked in on Friday night, Charleston was having a bit of a cold snap and I just casually asked the front desk staff where I might be able to purchase a sweatshirt since I didn’t bring one. The next thing I knew the young lady from the front desk was at our room door with a sweatshirt from Walgreens, which was the only thing open at the time. I’ve never had that happen at a hotel before! Exceptional to say the least! That same night we took Uber over to Isle of Palms for a get together with friends and had quite a bit of trouble getting an Uber back at a late hour. We called the hotel to see if there was anything they could do to help and within five minutes, we had a car service calling us to help us get back to Charleston! I also wanted to comment on the valets -every single one that we interacted with started up a conversation and talked to us the whole time we were waiting on our car to be bought around. They were professional and kind and made that five minute wait enjoyable. My husband and I will definitely be staying at Hotel Bennett again upon return trips to Charleston.
