Duke's Bbq - Charleston

I love it! The food (bar-b-que, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding) was great and the price was very reasonable. I'd definitely go back.

Re: worst service ever. Dukes is a $10 buffet. It's not a 5-star gift kitchen! If you need someone to wipe your ass, go downtown and pay for this service. My whole family eats at Dukes and never had anything other than fantastic food and friendly southern hospitality!! If you are such a loser that you need to choose on a server, grind your axe elsewhere! By the way, Dukes' Parking yesterday evening in Marmelade, when we were there, was so clear that they did good without you!! Good driver!

One of my favorite places on the island. I really appreciate that the dining area is very clean, which makes me believe the food will be great—and it truly is! You can't beat the price for a buffet like this. The portions are generous, and the desserts are fantastic, especially the banana pudding cake! I never get bored of this restaurant. It's far better than Melvin's, and I think the flavors are just as good. I'm also a big fan of the maize butterflies!

Great Value BBQ in Charleston! You really can't surpass the quality and affordability of this place. The portions are huge—my girlfriend and I can share one plate and still have leftovers for a snack later. They offer all your favorite country sides at a fantastic price. The BBQ is tasty as well; I particularly enjoy their hot BBQ sauce. My only wish is that the plate came with a bun or a piece of toast instead of hush puppies.
