When we questioned it, she gave us major attitude and said only a baby scoop is less when that’s not what the listed prices say. Nowhere on the board mentions anything about a baby scoop. She was very argumentative and unpleasant. I wouldn’t mind paying $8.50 for good gelato but not when I didn’t get two scoops and that’s not what was ordered. Didn’t make any sense and very bizarre situation. She did end up adjusting the price to the one scoop price we ordered but she rolled her eyes and had a major attitude. She may be trying to take advantage of tourists but we’re locals. I wonder how many people she is overcharging and they just don’t notice. Bad business practices overall. Too many other good options in charleston that care for their customers. We won’t be back!
Was originally just getting some gelato to pass the time while we waited on a reservation close-by, but this was genuinely probably the best gelato I've ever had! The employees were also super friendly. Great option for an after-dinner treat in Charleston.
The lemon sorbet was silky, smooth—delicious! The balance of sweet and sour was perfect, and each spoonful was refreshingly delectable.
INCREDIBLE experience at Freddo. My favorite was the ham and cheese empanada. It was the perfect stop on our walk down king street. Meg helped us find exactly what we were craving. 100 stars.try the dulce de LeChe!
Best gelato in town! Plus traditional Argentinian empanadas and homemade chimichurri to go with them. Highly recommend
