Great Wall - Charleston

It would get a 5 from me but the older man cooking does not know how to keep his hand out of the salt bucket and I love salt. Two times now this has occurred on two different types of meals. Yuck!

Great wall is the best Chinese food on james island. consistent quality. excellent prices. always hot and fresh. they have some amazing menu items that they can get nowhere near. great for ordering in quantity for parties. they are so nice and always so friendly.

Delicious food. Incredibly quick. Everything is made to order so they easily accommodated my pepper allergy. Small eat in area, but great for take out or a quick lunch stop

This is as good as any Chinese place around here. Looks like a family operation and they are almost always busy which is a good sign. I think the dinner combination plates which come with entree, fried rice and egg roll are the best value. This is typical takeout Chinese so don’t expect fine dining or anything. It’s just solid, always hot and fresh to order, Chinese food. My go to favorites are the wonton egg drop soup best in Charleston and the chicken lo mein. These are always hot and fresh. The staff is always friendly and it’s always the same people working.

The food was awful! Made days ago clearly not fresh. The meat looked petrified and the noodles mushy! This restaurant should be ashamed on themselves!
