High Cotton Charleston

Exceptional dinning experience. We enjoyed a delicious meal with attentive service in a great atmosphere. We had the special consisting of a beef filet with scallops accompanied by asparagus. My wife ordered hers medium and mine was medium rare. Each prepared to perfection. We look forward to dining here on our next visit to Charleston.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at High Cotton. I was initially seated at a inferior table for two in the center of the dining room. I politely asked to be moved to an open table for two close by on the front window. The staff refused and simply stated changing tables was not permitted. I spent the next two hours eating dinner and staring at that empty table for two wondering how this seating policy could be condoned or permitted. What a great spot for Dinner and atmosphere. Matt the waiter was great, as well as the rest of the Staff. Filet was Butter!!

Excellent fine restaurant— Good atmosphere with delicious low country cuisine— Started evening out in bar area with live music… moved to table for dinner overlooking dining area … Enjoyed pan seared scallops…Celebrating birthday in style— Highly recommended

We booked a reservation anticipating a high class meal experience. The food, service and staff were excellent and met expectations. The 2 star rating is based on the sound level of the musician that was performing immediately next to the door of our dining room. The music and signing made low level conversations impossible and added stress to what we hoped was going to be a great overall dining experience.
