Parson Jack Cafe - Charleston

The first time to visit today and it was nice. The reuben was great and loved the fried red/green paprika and onion stripes as a beautiful alternative to fries.

This place is a visit to our family since the move to West Ashley. It can hit or miss when it comes to service, beer selection and things that 86'd from the menu. Good, inexpensive food with a relaxed atmosphere. Never too full.

Very good meal. Had shrimp basket and fish and chips. For our surprise we were charged an extra charge of 1.75 euros for unlimited French Pommes. We thought Fritten came with food and were never asked if we wanted more Fritten or that we paid for extra charge....

It's my mother in the law today's birthday and she loves Parson Jacks. I tried to order her food because she didn't feel good enough to get to the restaurant. The woman on the phone answered the phone very rude and said, stop and slammed the one down. I waited for five minutes, then she picks up the phone and slams it back. I'll call back and it'll be canceled. Isn't it the point to be a restaurant to serve customers? I'm not sure what's going on, but that's not unacceptable. Treat us like a friend or family member from whom you are harassed are incredible. If you don't want to work there, just stop. Thank you for making my mother unforgettable in birthday laws in a bad way.

Enjoyed a salad and chicken fingers . Both were great. Service was above average. Sat outside with my dog. Very enjoyable.
