It is puzzling why the food served to hospital patients is exceptional while The Cafe's offerings are lackluster. Furthermore, the operating hours are not ideal for those working during the day. The Store is typically short-staffed and overcrowded with inventory, often running out of popular comfort food items. The Starbucks in the main lobby consistently sells out of blueberry muffins early in the morning. Overall, the retail management seems to be disconnected from customer demand.
I requested a Danish pastry from the elderly man, but he gave me one that appeared to be homemade. It was not like the Danishes on display at Starbucks and it came in a ziplock bag.
The restaurant was clean, with neatly presented merchandise, excellent food, and reasonable prices. This cafeteria at the medical center serves veterans and employees well. I especially liked the POW/MIA empty table on display. They offer both premade and made-to-order items at the grill. I highly recommend trying out this cafeteria!
The café is cozy and mainly frequented by employees on their breaks. The food is average and could be improved. It's puzzling why the café's food is not as good as the tasty meals served to hospital patients. The café's limited hours make it difficult for working individuals to visit. The store is often empty and filled with excessive inventory, although certain comfort food items may be out of stock. The café always sells out of blueberry muffins by 9 am. The retail business is not popular anymore.
The restaurant was clean, well-presented, served delicious food at reasonable prices. This cafeteria at the hospital does a great job catering to veterans and employees of the medical center. I particularly liked the POW/MIA table on display. They had both pre-made items and freshly grilled options available. I highly recommend trying out this cafeteria!
