The Lindy Renaissance Charleston

I must say that I am very elated to be in such a warm welcoming establishment full of friendly, inviting staff e.g bellsman, housekeeping , deli , etc. When I arrived, the manager checked me in and provided me with places to eat, scenery to enjoy and night life where I could wind down. Dana the concierge is a GOD sent angel, I wont tell you why from my personal experience, but you must grace her with your presence and you too shall see. I am sad that my time there was short, but trust and believe I will be back and this is where I will be staying. Dont walk, run and make your reservation.

My experience with this establishment started with a phone call with the manager Briggs (sorry if misspelled). He was able to accommodate, as best he could, my upcoming travel.Upon arrival, I was greeted by Richard, who was very sweet, attentive, and helpful throughout our entire trip.I was next greeted by the front desk representative who was very helpful and accommodating.There was an issue regarding the bed linen with our room. We reached out to housekeeping and the supervisor (I believe) Keemo quickly addressed and resolved the issue.Last, is Dana. What can I say. She was exceptionally helpful, kind, sweet, attentive, talented, and a blessing to each of us during our Girl's Trip.Thank you to the entire staff for being accommodating, helpful, sweet, and treating us all like the VIP's we are!!Be Blessed!!

Exceptional service by everyone, great location, immaculate, very quiet !Our only criticism was the very poor quality of the food offered by the vendor on premise for the morning continental breakfast. Worst Marriott related food we’ve experienced ! We would not hesitate to replace them with another vendor if it was our choice.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Richard who, I felt, was assigned especially to us! He was extremely attentive and took great care when handling our bags as he delivered them to our rooms.After getting settled, there was a small issue that Keimo in housekeeping, took care of with a smile. It seems like nothing could deter this staff from making our stay absolutely amazing!The front desk staff (I didn’t get everyone’s names. always seemed readily available to grant our every request.Starting each day with a quick bite at Hot Handy was perfect! We had daily activities planned and their biscuit sandwiches as well as other breakfast fare was just what we needed to energize us. They have this sandwich Berries on Brie. YES PLEASE! Then again, I could say the same thing about the soft boiled egg and tomato relish. SO GOOD!And Dana? WHAT. CAN. I. SAY?! She was so instrumental, as was everyone, in making this an extremely memorable Girls Trip for my sisters and I! From the wine and charcuterie board delivery to the celebrating surrounding myself, she truly went above and beyond to ensure great memories were made!The hotel decor reminded all of us of New Orleans. That place holds special space in our hearts so to now be able to add Charleston to that space is endearing as well. It was high end luxury from the lobby to our rooms!I’m not saying YOUR stay here will be like MY stay here but I AM SAYING if you want the BEST stay in Charleston, STAY HERE!Rooms: The bedding and pillows were great. I don’t like an extremely soft pillow and these did not disappoint. Also, the decor was high end chic! I loved the layout.Food drinks: Breakfast at Hot Handy was great! The sandwiches were tastefully hand crafted. Not to mention freshly made juices as well as wonderful coffee drinks. The space in which you could enjoy your purchases seemed like a friend’s kitchen; very warm and inviting.

Upscale hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, right in the heart of the city. Offers a lot of amenities, but most come at a price. Extremely walkable or bikeable (free bikes to rent first come, first serve) to all the main parts of the city. The staff is friendly and helpful.Rooms: Clean and comfortable with good views depending on room locationNearby activities: Hotel is located in main tourist area of the cityWalkability: Can walk to almost any area in the city from hotelFood drinks: The coffee/breakfast shop in the hotel is not great and over priced.
