They would normally pass directly by this place, but thanks to yelpers we found this little hidden gem. it's from a main street, but they can't see it.
This is the real low country deal here. homemade favorites and fritten-tastic feelings everywhere. the service was great and for a waiter lunch rush.
Cute hole in the wall. we had a good service. good time before closing. my wife had a boil salad with huh up, it was okay. I had chili cheese frits that were in order. the piece of Mahi-Mahi could have been the best I ever tasted. it was thick and spiced to perfection. they are well known for desserts. we had a piece of hotberry lemon cake and a piece of strawberry cake. both were great. for lunch or for a simple dinner. reminded me of a small diner atmosphere.
If the farm is her ding, that is her place! simply decorated and welcoming. it is a bit from the main road, so let her gps lead her. / hubby had fried pork chops, fried zucchini and squash, butter beans and maisbrot. based on its clean plate and the way he merciated this bone, I would say he really enjoyed his meal! / I had fried steak with brown gravure, fried zucchini and squash, butter beans and hush puppies. the steak was crispy and the brown gravy was silky and tasty. the zucchini and squash was slightly baked and wonderfully fed. loved the butter beans and the broth in which they were served. the lush puppies were crispy, light, moist and fantastic. the whole meal calmed my southern soul!
