Make sure not to overlook this genuine Italian treasure. Located on a charming alley, just steps away from King Street. I tried the bone marrow and salmon from the Monday special menu and was impressed by the high quality, exceptional preparation, and the friendly attitude of the staff.
I do not recommend this restaurant. My dining experience was not good at all. We waited 45 minutes for our wine and drinks to arrive. The food was very disappointing. I would not suggest ordering the Gnocchi or Cacio e Pepe. These should be simple dishes to make, but they managed to mess them up. As someone who has worked in the service industry for 5 years, I can say that this was some of the worst service I have ever experienced. Bad food, bad service, and long waits made for a very unenjoyable meal. This is my first ever negative review.
Vincent chicco was recommended to me by a friend. young, I'm glad she did. the ambiente is very beautiful. the seating was comfortable. our waiter, john, was great. he was so helpful that he had us consulted at our Entree selection. we shared an salate that was a very wise choice. Unfortunately, we have not shared any escape we could have. the food was incredibly delicious and the portions are definitiw large enough for one part. I enjoyed the risotto and my friend had the Sicilian Sunday gravy. both were sensational! we have filled our meal with a common dessert. the martinis were also fabulous. we look forward to another return to charleston and another great dinner!
I have always enjoyed vincent chicco, and last night was not taken! everything was wonderful.
