West Ashley Crab Shack - Charleston

What an amazing dining experience! The damper basket was outstanding, and the shrimp were the best I’ve ever had. The highlight of our meal was the exceptional service provided by Georgia. She was attentive and made sure all our needs were met. Thank you, Georgia!

Ordered a bucket of oysters and a bucket of crab bone. The price was listed as a market, did not know that the actual price til ticket came. Service was underpar, had to ask another server for our ticket. The biggest problem was the quality of food. Oysters were dry, crab could also have been imitation. Had to fight to get it out of the bowl, came so dry and shredded, the bowls were soft. Overall, it seemed as if the crab was old and near bad to go. And everything came out. Our friends ordered shrimps and crabs buckets, had the same problem except they also got uncooked potatoes! Note: went to the toilet room to change and maintain my baby. Waited for an employee for over ten minutes to get out of the larger stable with the winding table. While I was waiting for her to come up with immunization baby and I went to the smaller stable. Once she came out, I tried to get out of the little stable and go into it, but was literally caught by her door! Both doors open and there is not enough space. Calling and talking to a manager who could only offer, “ take care of us next time “ we live 2 hours away. Do not plan for bad quality service and food back. Were said the owner would get my number to call me back, but it is now over two weeks. Would definitely recommend choosing another place for your seafood

Jeff the manager is great!! He worked alone during lunchtime and he never missed a beat. I had my birthday dinner here and it was great. I started with a She Crab Soup, which was served hot and tasty. Followed with the Captain's Platter, flooded with Flounder, Shrimp, Scallops and Oysters and served hot!! My pages were red rice and roasted Okra. There was so much food I couldn't finish my record. I love this restaurant and will be back soon.

The locals recommended this restaurant to us, and it was the perfect spot for an early dinner. We ordered the Snow Crab and Shrimp Bucket, which was not only delicious but also enough to share between two people! Our server, Kenny, was very attentive and handled our table swiftly and efficiently. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I have not been to Crab Shack in a good minute. It once was my all time favor spot for seafood. To my dismay the food is still as delicious as it was before or not better. I really enjoyed my crab balls it is cook with all crabmeat, the Buffalo shrimps were delicious, and my friend enjoyed her she crab soup. The main course for me was the Seafood Platter it was fried to perfection. The servers (Kenneth and a young lady did'nt get her name) were friendly and engaging, All in all, I will be back!
