RSL Hayes Bistro - CHARLEVILLE

I would love to have the carvery nights and self-serve salad and vegetable options return to the restaurant. Eating the same thing every time can get a bit monotonous.

Be cautious! This restaurant is very overrated. For 6.5€, you only get three small slices of bread, three pots of store-bought marmalade, and a very tiny cup of chocolate.

Although the food was good, the wait for it was very long. It wasn't a very busy night but the meals took a long while to get to us. Also, for one of us, the entree and the main arrived at the same time, whereas the rest of us had already almost finished our mains. Service could be improved.

We visited this place on a Monday night, expecting it to be very quiet. The place was buzzing, ask most of the tables were full

This RSL is providing a great meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Updated after the old RSL burned down, this building is bright and well presented, the staff are friendly, overall a nice place to have a nice meal and escape the heat. A nice walk down memory lane
