I've always heard good things, and with all the new restaurants popping up in Charlotte we've been distracted and it's been hard to remember to try (just being honest). The service was AAA+ not too personal, not to impersonal. Our plates were always taken away before the next course, and our water cups always full! A delightful palate cleanser was served between the appetizer and main course which was a wonderful surprise/touch (especially for those of us who do not treat ourselves very often). The food was AMAZING. And probably the best steak my fiance has ever had in Charlotte. My salmon dish was a tad bit too salty for my taste (I think the Kale had been over salted) but the technique and quality was absolutely there! I could eat their roasted cauliflower soup every day of the week and then some. I've already raved to several people and will most certainly be returning!
Food was amazinggg. SO and I split the steamed oyster appetizer, both got the goat cheese salad, and I had the beef fillet and he had the venison entrée. Everything was simply delicious, especially the steak. Done medium well, seriously the best steak I've ever had. We both ate well past being full, it was just too good to leave anything behind. Wine list was extensive and cocktails were made good and strong. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars was there was some obvious damage to a few areas of the walls that deff hurt the overall atmosphere. Somewhere as upscale as this should be able to keep a pristine interior finish. I would absolutely go back.
Visited during the Winter Restaurant Week and the menu was very good. I had the NY Strip and it was awesome, wife had buttermilk fried chicken also awesome. Service was very attentive and friendly. Not a place I would go every week as it is fine dining and a little pricey, but not overly so. Looking forward to coming here again.
Excellent culinary experience. The host gave me a window table very happy when I asked. Brad, the waiter, was very attentive and happy answered all the questions. The food was beautifully presented and wonderfully costed.
Excellent! Romantic atmosphere, good food and first-class service! We ordered the raw oysters, a warm goat cheese salad and fried chicken with gravy and potatoes. Absolutely delicious! Very recommended!
