Ciro's Italian - Charlotte

This is a fantastic family-style Italian restaurant that serves truly delicious authentic dishes. I was really impressed by the exceptional quality of service we received. We ordered the grilled swordfish and Tiramisu, both of which were exquisite. One of my favorite aspects of the experience was the owner, who wandered around playing beautiful accordion music for the tables! I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening, and afterward, you can stroll by the lake!

This place is fantastic! We used to visit frequently when we lived nearby, but it's been ten years since we've been back. It's just as we remembered. The bread is outstanding, and they have an infused olive oil with rosemary and garlic that's perfect for dipping—simply amazing! The fried calamari was cooked to perfection, and all of our appetizers were excellent as well. Every entrée we ordered was superb, and the portions were very generous. We were delighted to find that the accordion player is still performing, which adds a delightful touch reminiscent of Italy!

I've frequently had lunch at Ciro (and dined there once for dinner). I usually order the special and have always been impressed. This week, the special was grilled chicken served over fettuccine pasta with a garlic cream sauce and Portobello mushrooms. It was a fantastic lunch. The service has consistently been excellent. Unfortunately, this week I misplaced my receipt, which I need for reimbursement. So, I called today to request a copy. The woman I spoke with (the manager, perhaps?) was very polite and mentioned it would take a few hours, but she would bring it to me. Just an hour later, I received a photo of the receipt via text message. THAT'S GREAT SERVICE! If you haven't tried this place yet, you should definitely go soon. The food is amazing, and the service is top-notch.

The service, food and wine here is always great! At dinner you can be sung with Italian classics. Great place for a family dinner or a date. I always enjoy the marinara sauce here, but never had a bad dish. In any case, the visit and a walk around the boardwalk are worth it!

Great place to have an Italian meal. Staff was wonderful. There was even a guy playing the accordion. The food was good. It was not spectacular but i enjoyed the dining experience.
