The service was excellent and our orders arrived quickly. I ordered a cocktail called the Jolly Rancher, and it tasted just like the green candy—delicious! We also tried the pork banh mi buns, which were the best I've ever had; the buns were incredibly soft and the pork was flavorful. I opted for the pad woonsen, a glass noodle dish, while my girlfriend had the pad prik, both of which were very tasty. I haven't encountered these dishes at other Thai restaurants, which speaks to the authenticity of this place. I was eager to try the Thai crepes before arriving, as it was another dish I hadn't seen before, and we both loved them. This has quickly become my favorite Thai restaurant, and I can't wait to return!
The only thing my boyfriend and I could say during our visit here was "Wow!" After every bite, we experienced total bliss. We started with the pork banh mi buns, which were incredibly fluffy and perfectly seasoned. My boyfriend ordered the Jolly Rancher cocktail, and he said it tasted just like a Jolly Rancher! I had the Pad Prik, and it was a perfect blend of spice and sweetness. We also tried the Pad Woonsen, which was delicious, especially atop the Thai crepe! The Thai crepe was delightfully flaky, and the mangoes were incredibly sweet. Overall, I would give this place a 10/10 and would definitely come back! The service was quick, and the outdoor area is so cozy.
The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) just didn't meet expectations. They were overcooked, lacked flavor, had very few vegetables, and were quite soggy. I've tried this dish at hundreds of authentic Thai restaurants on the West Coast, and honestly, this was one of the least impressive versions I've encountered. I'll give the restaurant another chance, but don’t come here expecting to be wowed by this dish. I ordered it at a spice level of 4 out of 5, and it didn’t even make my nose sweat. Additionally, there was an odd subtle gas or charred taste to everything. In conclusion, I've enjoyed fantastic Thai food at half the price elsewhere, so I know it can be done better.
Very good, the server is also very nice, we went late so it?s not very busy .lobster roll is delicious, pork bun is my favorite, mango sticky rice is too sweet for me, But i will come back again
I live in Indian Trail, and every pad Thai I've tried around here has been disappointing. However, this place is the real deal. I wish it were closer, but I'll definitely make a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area. It's my favorite pad Thai in the Charlotte region! Food: 5/5.
