Doan's Vietnamese Cuisine - Charlotte

I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and I was impressed! I tried the beef spring rolls and the beef brisket/eye round steak pho. Having enjoyed Vietnamese cuisine for over a decade, I’ve often struggled to find an excellent spot in Charlotte. This place is a must-visit for authentic Vietnamese food. Spectacular! Food rating: 5/5.

I will absolutely NOT GO THERE AGAIN! They are CHARGING a 10% charge on TO GO FOOD! No one is SERVING ME so WHY should I have to tip?! THIS IS TERRIBLE AND UNCALLED FOR! The food wasn't even good. I'll go back to my regular joint where there's actually GOOD FOOD.Food: 1/5

Doan is my favorite Asian restaurant in Charlotte area. It is one the of most ahthenic one in my opinion. The food material is very fresh and very light weighted on my stomach. I usually have to order them at least once a week. Chicken noodle soup is strongly recommended.

I visited this restaurant with friends recently and was pleasantly surprised by how excellent it was. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and promptly served us water. We decided to order Banh Xeo (rice pancakes filled with meat), Spicy Curry Chicken, Bun Thap Cam (a vermicelli bowl), and Spring Rolls. Each dish was bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious. The staff took the time to explain each menu item, which was really helpful. You can tell that they take pride in delivering a great experience, making you feel right at home.

This was my first time trying Vietnamese cuisine and it was AMAZING! I love all the fresh herbs and ingredients. The fresh summer rolls were packed with flavor which was my favorite. Doan's has so much to offer on their menu to introduce your palette to this authentic cuisine.I highly recommend trying these dishes:Bánh Xéo Crispy rice pancake filled with meat and bean spoutsSpicy Curry Chicken taste great with a baguette(bread)Bun Thap Cam Vermicelli bowl with meat, lettuce, and vegetables There is plenty of seating and the ambiance gives you a feeling you're visiting Singapore.We truly enjoyed our experience and the food service was impeccable!
