Godavari Charlotte

I have been looking for an authentic Indian restaurant in Charlotte and have tried a few, but unfortunately, they all seemed to be tailored to suit local tastes. However, I finally found the one I was searching for! This restaurant appeals to both Indian and local diners in Charlotte. I highly recommend it and give it a solid 5 stars!

That's great! The best Indian restaurant so far, the Naan is so fresh, the food is just really seasoned, and the service was great! Sorry about the picture, forget to take it earlier, but as you can see, it was so good, everything was gone.

This restaurant recently opened and successfully revived the one in the University area. We visited on Dussehra, and our selection was limited to vegetarian dishes, but we truly enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious! In addition to what’s shown in the pictures, we also ordered Butter Naan and Paneer Butter Masala. The naan was freshly made and soft, just like the paneer! We received attentive service, and the prices were reasonable as well. I will definitely return to try the non-vegetarian options on the menu!

One of the best spots in University City for South Indian food. Never had a bad experience going here. They don't mess around with the spice either, so come here for an authentic experience. Friendly staff and never a wait time.
