Kubel's - Charlotte

The manager came over and suggested that the family move, and they closed the umbrella, fearing it might happen again. Meanwhile, I asked the busboy if he knew who our waitress was, and he said he would find out. Frustrated, I made a comment to my husband about the situation and suggested we go to the bar since the restaurant was fully packed. He was not pleased with that idea, as he dislikes bars and was already quite hungry. Throughout this whole ordeal, there was no acknowledgment or apology from the staff for the incident with the umbrella or the mix-up regarding our waitress. I think the manager should be informed about this experience.

I haven't visited Kubel in years, and tonight we wanted to enjoy an early dinner outdoors while soaking up the last bit of daylight on this lovely day. The dinner was absolutely fantastic. I had the red tuna, cooked perfectly rare, accompanied by an amazing wasabi sauce and seaweed salad. We also ordered a side of the best coleslaw I've ever had at a restaurant. My husband chose a dish that I would describe as a crab pot, which was also excellent. I'm so happy to have another great dining option at the northern end of LBI, and I can't wait to return to Kubel soon!
