On top of all that, the staff is incredible—friendly, patient, and attentive. The only downside? They don’t offer jumbo sweet tea! However, I’ll easily overlook that and bring my own, because the food and service are just that good! This spot serves the BEST FRIED CHICKEN in the Queen City! As for parking, it can be tricky; the lot is narrow and behind the restaurant (shaped like an "L"), with limited spaces and unclear markings. The driveway is tight, making it easy to get stuck behind other customers and worry about scraping someone else's car.

The fight night event at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic. From the owner to our waitress Naj, who was exceptional, we felt thoroughly cared for as a party of six from start to finish! DJ Ram was on fire! The food was incredible, as always. I ordered the grilled lobster tail with shrimp, but it arrived fried. However, with just one mention, they quickly corrected it with warmth and outstanding customer service! You all truly know how to provide a great experience! Thank you for making it such a memorable night!

Highly disappointed that it took over 30 minutes for 1 meal when people who ordered after me got their food. Finally my turn and my food was knocked over, they took it to the back to remake. The door is blocked so you can’t see them in the back and it amazed me it took less than a minute for my food to come back so I asked for reassurance that my food was remade. I asked if they could show me that it was trashed, they would not show me that it was trashed or anything so asked for a refund…very disappointed and my trust is lost will never return!

Quick and friendly. We had takeout and was happy with the food. I had the chicken and sides and my kids had the burger.

Best Soul in Charlotte! This is the second Mr.Charles location in Charlotte that features a bar and dining room. Chicken, Fish and Shrimp are fried to perfection! The tartar sauce is homeade and the sides are amazing. Mac &Chesse, Collards, Fries and Wedges are some of my favorite sides. Staff are friendly and helpful. Try the lemonade drink!
