Panera Bread - Charlotte

New establishment, very clean huge plus very friendly crew food super fresh great service consistently. Every time I’ve visited rather drive thru crib side or dine in the service has been great no complaints at this location

Haven't been to Panera in quite some time, so not sure when the ordering kiosks became a thing (COVID? . Either way, it makes ordering easy...in and out.

I enjoy going to this Panera almost every day for coffee and sometimes breakfast on my way to work. They just started opening at 6 which is even better for my morning routine. The only critique I have is that depending who is working the drive thru: your iced or hot coffee will either be mixed for you with your cream and sugar etc ready to go in your car… or you will be handed a palm full of stuff and a full coffee cup. This is not conducive to tidy cars with no where to cleanly discard used packets of sugar or cream cups with no bag for trash since you only ordered a cup. Or if there is no room in your cup for add ins you have to find a way to pour some out. It would be nice to have a standard of mixing the coffee before it goes through the window or at least consistently not mixing it so I know what I’m signing up for instead of an unpleasant surprise!

Ordered one item for pick up online they text me saying the order is ready and then tell me it was going to be 5 minutes. Some people have to be at work if the order is not ready don't advise the customer it is.

However, I do have one criticism: the drive-thru staff often mix your iced or hot coffee with cream and sugar for you. This can be inconvenient if you prefer to manage your own additions. Instead of receiving a perfectly mixed drink, you might end up with a cup filled with just coffee and a handful of cream and sugar packets, which is not very helpful for keeping my car clean. It would be better if there were a standard practice for mixing coffee before it comes through the window or, at the very least, to consistently leave it unmixed so I know exactly what to expect. It would definitely make the experience more pleasant!
