It doesn't taste good. The gravity base is the worst thing I've ever tried. Unfortunately, there are no good authentic Indian restaurants in North Charlotte.
The food is okay, just a short tip when you order Biryani, make sure you tell them to cook the meat properly, I went there like 4 times the most meat was not well cooked. The order takes a ton of time that could be because they might cook fresh, but not everyone has patience like me, waiting for their order for 40 minutes. Also make sure to check the order with your waiter or another waiter because they are great to take it wrong, and you do not want to wait 40 minutes and just some of the items from the menu. Anyway, I thought I ordered Biryani, so maybe it could take more time to cook, but along with that I ordered starters and fresh lime soda that also came with Biryani, so Yaa has to work on it.
The food was authentic and delicious! The service was a little slow and we waited a hole for our food. We were told, however, that there was a new cook and therefore things were secured. Total good experience!
We ate a LEAST once a week, often twice. Almost always the buffet. The restaurant was always packed, everyone was always so attentive and the food was the best in Charlotte. We drove there almost an hour, instead of eating with a nearby Indian restaurant. Once kovid they started closed for some time and we are deeply sad, they did not return the buffet. So many other restaurants have so confusing why they?t. We haven't been back since, but before it was our favorite restaurant to go along with our friends and family. Please bring back the weekend lunch buffet!
Went for dinner there and were utterly disappointed with the food. Among appetizers, Chicken 65 and Fish was not great, only gobi manchurian was ok. They are supposed to be Biryani specialist per name but even that was also below average. Best part was their Garlic naan. This used to be on of our favorite restaurant prior to covid, but probably their management/chef may be changed.
